The Eleventh Hour

This collection marked the debut of The Eleventh Hour from Australian based designer Anne Tu. Tu's background designing for Preen is clearly evident in her design debut.

Sheers dominate this sophisticated yet athletic collection. 1950's bathing suits, tanks, pleated tennis style skirts and knotted gymnastic rope esque skirts are inducted into the world of tailoring while the flowing fabrics create movement. I love how the lapel collars create a sense of agility and how the long black sleeveless over-shirt resembles the fluidity of a superhero's cape.

What completes the look though in my opinion is the way the hair and make-up is styled. Hair is combed back and appears damp as if the models had just emerged from the water something which their dewy faces reiterate.
