Piers Atkinson is a designer we here at Fashion156 love. We recently caught up with Piers when he guest contributed to our blog last month, where we discussed his fantasy 'Mad Hatters Tea Party' and how he bit the apple in his Eden-esque collection. Featuring Piers SS11 collection in our LFW WEEK PREVIEW ISSUE, we felt with the hat-wearing season that is upon us it was time to spotlight Piers latest lookbook.

Now moving into his sixth season, SS11 is a 40 pieces or so collection of romantic spring hats with Pier's unique slightly dark edge. Mixing materials such as flowers, veils, cherry blossoms but also leaves and fruits; the headpieces make us dream of attending next year's Royal Wedding and attempting to seriously upstage the bride. 

The feminine colours going from light pink and cream to fuchsia, bright green and gold never veer towards saccharine and would work perfectly with a smashed up vintage dress and heels so high you can only totter.

With her wide blonde curls and dreamy expression, the look book's model Chloe Watson reminds me of a Sleeping Beauty like figure who has been caught doing something very, very bad - adding even more charm and wit to Atkinson’s creations.
