I first stumbled across Matteo's photography in a copy of 7th Man magazine so was thrilled to be reminded of this up and coming photographer's work in the latest issue of Metal magazine (image 4) indicating Matteo is very much on the rise and rightly so.

He masterfully uses black and white as he veers from documentary style captures to MGM motion picture snapshots. His photos would not look out place in a museum as they appear as reflections on society at a given time, accidental observations Matteo has stumbled upon. You feel at times as if you may be going through Life magazine's archive. His use of colour is muted yet appears in vibrant bursts increasing its impact, leaving me awaiting his next editorial with impatience.
