Parallel Worlds

Sofia Arjam
It is as though Sofia Arjam lives in a parallel universe. Her world is one where the sky is bluer, where the people are prettier and where every sense is palpably heightened. When I look at her pictures I find myself wishing that some kind of Lewis Carroll spell would take hold of me and let me fall into the wonderland that she has created with her camera. I imagine there'd be countless curiosities waiting for me there and I'd meet many mysterious girls with wonderful tales to tell. Each portrait is elegantly composed, with a careful attention to detail that signals the work of a true talent. They may say that the grass is always greener on the other side, but in Sofia’s world, it definitely is.
