Milan Hair Trends
According to the shows this weekend in Milan, men’s hair will be taking a more directional feel for next winter, providing a focal point to the collections. Hairstyles appeared to be taking a life of their own, quite literally at Bottega Venenta, where Teddy boy inspired hair reminded me of 60’s looks seen in Nowhere Boy. Similarly, Jil Sander showed sharp quiffs, which set a modern tone to Raf Simons’ minimalism. Prada’s 70’s geek chic trimmed fringes were reminiscent of Andy Warhol, whilst Burberry continued the side swept ‘school boy’ trend with longer fringes. The key trend is definitely an aggressive, longer length, that can be played around with to transcend men’s hair trends to new heights.
