Orschel-Read - Model castings and Location hunting.

Chatting with Stefan he told me how this week was proving particularly manic as both model castings and sourcing a location for his lookbook shoot have come at once. Below Stefan talks me through the process and tells me what he hopes to find in both his models and location.

Casting is tricky this season as we are producing a compact press collection. To pick up on the rougher elements of the collection we are looking for boys that combine a certain masculinity with an editorial beauty.

We decided to shoot on location this season to reference some of the initial research of inhabiting hostile environments. I want to have the option of having the Thames in the background of shots. I do however wish to avoid stereotypical images of London, such as Saint Pauls, the London eye, or Greenwich, so I have scouted locations on the riverbanks in Fulham and Chelsea.
