I've been a fan of Paco Peregrin, Spanish master photographer extraordinaire, for a ridiculously long time, but I’m ashamed to admit that it wasn’t until yesterday I discovered that Kattaca is the styling genius also responsible for creating the theatrical looks. i'm not sure how- to say you can spot their work from a mile off is something of an understatement. Kattaca is the combined force of two highly creative individuals- Mario Ville and Carol Gamarra- who saturate the viewer’s senses with a riot of colour, shape and pattern. Every shot seems so perfect, so well considered, the ultimate expression of the concept, which itself varies outrageously from shoot to shoot.

A quick nose around their website revealed their eclectic portfolio, proving the duo have always embraced such a unique vision. I can’t wait to follow their progress and watch them move onto the international stage- an accolade that is surely long overdue?
