Nadia Flower is a New Zealand-based illustrator. Her drawings are playful and sensual, residing in that area where dreams, fantasies and fashion collide. She applies hand-drawn and computer-based imagery to a range of visual mediums, from fine art painting to fashion textiles. Her brush strokes and colour palette are delicate, eye catching and quite feminine, yet still very graphic and strong at the same time.
I love how she shadows and highlights the shades of hues in her images, every time I look at her artworks, I often drift off to my daydream land. My favourite pictures are all the ones with headpieces. I think they are very unique and I can't help but think how amazing these headpieces would look in actual photographs.
