Have you ever been so engrossed in a book that you just can’t put it down? A gravitational pull begins to orbit your body and time slips away as your bound best friend progressively becomes an extension of your arm…or rather; your face.

Having discovered the whimsical dream-like style of Lissy Laricchia’s photography in N.E.E.T Magazine, I immediately delved into her archive of work to discover this wonderful series entitled ‘Get Back In Your Book’. With fairytale and fictional characters depicted in a weightless state getting sucked back into their respective worlds, the images evoke memories of childhood wishes that my favourite princesses would somehow clamber out of the book and become real. But for now, Alice, Belle and, err...Harry; it's time return to the confines of your lines and paragraphs and Get Back In Your Books.
