For Us By Us

The Undergraduates

While we wait in limbo for next season and the next onslaught of graduate collections I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon For Us By Us, a creative collaboration among undergraduates in Brisbane that spans fashion, film and art.

Twenty-four second year fashion design students from QUT joined forces with six local emerging artists to create a film which just screened on Friday. The film will also be accompanied by a documentary offering an insight into this project and these young creatives.

Unfortunately not being in Australia I am forced to settle for the the trailer for now, however the film is due to surface online soon. Considering the fact that these fashion students are only seconds years I shall be bookmarking QUT.
