Fashion156.com Guest Contributor - Tze Goh: Redesigning Tradition

Tze Goh

All this week Tze Goh has been guest contributing to Fashion156.com. On Monday I interviewed Tze as we talked 3D, modern architecture and Jil Sander. On Wednesday Tze shared his favourite manifestations of minimalism.

Considering the kimono was central to Tze's AW 11/12 silhouette I asked him would other classic and traditional items of clothing he would love to experiment with.

A Poncho – I would like to tailor it.

Court shoes - I would make them modern by giving them plastic heels.

A sweater - I would re-cut it as a coat.

A tunic – I would like to make its modern equivalent in white 3D jersey.

A 17th Century Juste-au-corps (coat) – I would love to re-cut it as a dress.
