Following on from our inspiration list earlier this week, where everything from Julius Caesar and the growth of skirts over trousers across the AW 11/12 runway to the sounds of Star Slinger was inspiring us, today we share our loves....

Having one of those weeks. Just want to get in this house and float away to somewhere with no phones/internet.

Love this exclusive preview of the Screen Adaptation of Murakami’s Coming of Age Tale. Bet lots of relationships will  now be 'tested' with cheesecakes being thrown out of windows. I tried it, but didn't get quite the response I was hoping for...

Richard Kilroy - An illustrator with amazing attention to detail.

The Crows of Pear Blossom by Aldous Huxley - Though most of us may associate Huxley with The Doors of Perception, he also wrote one children's book which has finally been restored to print. An allegory on WW II this is not your standard picture book.

Love the use of miniscule model people in this 'Big Bad City' street installation series.

Reed + Radar - These innovative photographers are continually inspiring me. Love how they turn stills into moving image.

Mono - I've had the pleasure of being able to see japanese rock band, MONO. They are simply amazing! I love their experimentation between classical and rock music. They are Epic!

Make Something - Fresh from handing their windows over to young designers this weekend Selfridges in collaboration with Edun are hosting creative workshops being taught by Aaron Rose, Liz Goldwyn and Casette Playa among others where young creatives can decorate their windows. Defintely worth checking out. Love the thought of learning from Aaron Rose.
