Its true. You can’t help what you fall for. Normally, work like Doyeon Noro Kim’s would leave me nothing short of confused and see me squinting at the screen for some trace of form. However, this LCF graduate and talented fashion illustrator has stolen my heart completely. His original works are like looking at a Julie Verhoeven work through a rainy window, blurred but beautiful. It was more natural to me to adore the illustrations he provided for Mikyoung Kim’s graduate collection from Wimbeldon School of Art, which are as theatrical as they are fresh. Whatever he turns his hand to, Kim appears to be a magician with a Midas touch for splendour. Whatever he turns his hand to, I’m infatuated with. So, I suppose, it must be true love.
